My colleagues went to the DoD convention in February and got a flyer about a mobile forensics software called FinalMobile Forensics from FinalData.

Has anyone tried this product ?

How does it compare to other solutions like XRY, Datapilot SecureView, Mobiledit, Bitpim, etc.

I have been in contact with this company as their caption of retrieving all deleted items from CDMA phones seemed to be intriguing, they said they do not currently offer a demo and when I ask about specific models and what can be retrieved I get different responses from different people at the company…just my experience so far

Mmmm… I guess I'll wait…

If their pre-sales support is like that, I wonder how the customer support is going to be…

Thanks

Hello,

Let me introduce myself as the VP of Technology at FINALDATA.

Hitman Please PM me and I would be happy to provide a Canadian Law Enforcement reference who is actively using our product. Ontario Provincial Police and RCMP are current customers.

Pronie2121 Our 2.1 Demo version is due out within 2 weeks. While we do have a supported phones list on our website, our software targets acquisition by manufacturer as opposed to by specific model. We attempt to acquire as much data from as many CDMA phones as possible and continue testing new models daily. We most frequently acquire deleted contacts, call logs and text messages from approximately half the phones we test. Feel free to PM me with a specific model(s) and I can give you a breakdown of what data we expect to acquire.

Thank you all for your interest and I welcome inquiries.

The demo version is available to qualified (based upon domain name/web presence) individuals in the private sector as well.

Thanks,
Mike
