Hey guys,

Do you need any special software to gather information off a nokia device? I've been told symbian dumper. If its true, where do i obtain this from? I've google'd around but nothings come off it.

For a logical extraction most of the major commercial tools (XRY, Oxygen, Cellebrite, Aceso, etc.) will do Symbian handsets (all make use of an agent that needs to be run from the handset to complete the extraction.)

Or are you talking about a "hex dump" acquisition?

Thanks for the replies guys,

S1lang, it's the N82, i'm trying to engineer a TULP2G plugin for my course. I've gotten the AT commands that manage to retrieve phonebook information and text message information. Now I'm after getting a directory structure. Someone pointed me in the directory of some 3rd part software that needs installing pior to this. Can any further light be shred on this matter?

I know it's not direct answer to your question but I've got a feeling that you can use SYNCML to get calendar/organiser type stuff.
