The purpose of this poll is to gauge peoples interest in attending a seminar on GSM standards. If an event were scheduled would you or your colleagues be interested in attending?
Should there be enough interest and the event seems viable then potentially it can be something which is organised for later this year.
For those people who select the option 'I might be interested in attending' it would be really helpful if you could post in this thread and suggest anything which may help you be more interested. i.e. is the location something which may affect your decision, or perceived cost etc.
I would be interested in this but will there be reduced rates for students? As this is the biggest barrier for me.
dngroen our aim is that sponsors pay for the venue, food etc, so all you have to do pre-register (which costs you nothing) when the form is prepared, with the objective that financially there will be no charge for being a delegate at the one-day conference (subject to getting sponsors obviously) other than you paying for your own travel to get there and back.
In which case I am definitely interested.

Greg, I've responded to your LinkedIn discussion on this topic (I don't know if you get a notification or not)
Hi Jamie
I haven't been back to Linkedin and hadn't seen anything in my email inbox, but will check it now.
Greg
I appreciate you are all busy and this is just a reminder about Coligulus' Poll concering a Seminar on GSM Standards, free of charge.
I would be very interested but I am assuming that this will take place in the UK.

This first Seminar is in the UK, yes.
This gets my vote (eventually!)
