An exciting opportunity has arisen for an individual to join the Digital and Technical Exploitation Capability (DTEC), part of the South East Regional Organised Crime Unit (SEROCU) hosted by Thames Valley Police on behalf of the region.

The capability will seek to identify new opportunities to use digital technologies to assist investigations and research new techniques for covert recovery of information from devices and networks. The successful candidates will carry out design, research, and development of software, techniques and equipment to counter the threat posed by serious and organised criminals

You will have proven ability to work in a secure and confidential environment with the highest standards of integrity; able to recognise sensitive information and maintain discretion and confidentiality at all times. You will have a master’s degree (or higher) in Computer Science, Electronics, Radio, Telecommunications equivalent technical degrees or relevant industry experience.
