Hiring for a Senior Forensics Consultant in TOKYO

In Tokyo, Japan office, we are hiring for a BILINGUAL (Native Japanese + Basic level English). As the Senior Consultant, you will be responsible for consulting, technical, documentation and pre-sales skills in the Information Security, especially Incident Response. Often times you will need to orchestrate between multiple departments to ensure a right solution is brought to a customer. As the lead for Japan, you will help drive new revenue business on behalf of Verizon’s RISK team business in Japan market.

Responsibilities include:
• Knowledgeable in Incident Response and Computer Forensics fundamentals
• Experienced in Information Security consulting
• Works closely with security sales teams to support local business sustenance and revenue growth
• Ensures that the established utilization targets on a quarterly / annual basis for all established targets are met or exceeded
• Ensures correct and timely delivery of consulting projects for Verizon’s customers
• Work on proposal development and effort estimations for new opportunities
• Develop customer ready presentations and proposals
• Shows continued self-improvement in the product discipline to further understand industry, and products
• Effectively manages communication and administrative activities through the delivery of high quality and informative content on any requested report or any deal specific updates requested by management
• Proven ability to engage at executive levels within each account is required


Required skills:
• Capable of conducting/supporting an engagement in our core offerings such as: PCI-related IR/Forensics Investigations, Financial Services, Intellectual Property, Computer Security Incident Response Team (CSIRT), Expert Witness/Litigation Support
• Ability to work on multiple projects on a daily basis and being flexible to work outside business hours when dealing with critical, time-sensitive breaches
• Understanding of information security; incident response; network architecture; general data security concepts; document management; hardware and software troubleshooting; Microsoft Office applications.
• Native-level Japanese and business-level English required. English level must be sufficient enough to communicate (read, write, speak) with overseas teams.
