Hi,

Need some assistance on Teamviewer logfiles.

There is a alphanumeric string of 32 characters in braces in the Connections_incoming log file.

I need some explanation on what this is.

Thanks

Sounds like the unique connection ID

I did contact TeamViewer a while ago to ask about this. This was their reply

The GUID codes are for internal use only and allow our support colleagues to read the log files and determine the issue, to help our customers and users with their problems.

However, as redcat has said, they do appear to be a unique connection ID. From what I’ve seen, if you had the computer that the connection originated from, you will see a record in the ‘Connections.txt’ log file with the corresponding GUID.
