You may come from an enforcement, in-house or consultancy background.

£Various levels of role and salary commensurate with experience.

• You will be involved in security incident investigations that involve cyber crime and require log, forensic and malware analysis
• You will be collecting and analysing intrusion detection system alerts, firewall logs, network traffic logs and host system logs to evaluate whether unauthorized access or information ex-filtration occurred


Duties:

• You will br performing forensic analyses to identify the presence of any malware, its capabilities/actions and what actions the malware may have taken
• Conduct security investigations in Linux and/or Windows OS environments
• Written and oral client comms, related to analyses performed for senior level review

Ideal Qualifications:
• Approximately 1year+ experience of working in the Incident Response or similar
• Excellent communication with senior stakehlders
• Ability to take a Holistic and granular view
• Experience working with Linux, Unix, Mac
• Scripting & programming experience ideally Python, C#, VBA, Shell etc
• Experience working on projects in an investigatory manner, can be from law enforcement or incident response
• Strong team skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment
• Ability to bring together events from multiple sources to create a time-line analysis across end points of an incident
• Excellent organisational skills
• Genuine interest in Incident Response, and to achieve continuous improvements
