What we’re looking for
A unique opportunity has opened for an enthusiastic Investigator within our enforcement department.

The Role
We are keen to find someone who's up for the challenge of taking on this truly amazing opportunity to continue to build our enforcement capabilities.

Your responsibilities (including but not limited to):

• Lead and conduct investigations into illegal platforms, their operators and intermediaries
• Assist the Head of Enforcement in the resolution of investigations, data reporting and development of working practices
• Escalate and negotiate cases with intermediaries
• Conduct open-source intelligence operations
• Prepare case referrals for Law Enforcement
• Co-ordinate the flow of day to day investigation operations
• Ensure tasks are completed to a high standard
• Report directly to Head of Enforcement in our London office

Requirements
• 3+ years of experience in an online investigative capacity
• Strong knowledge of OSINT techniques and social engineering
• Able to investigate web platforms through analysis of HTML, JS, XHR
• Strong understanding of, HTTP, DNS, TCP/IP
• Strong knowledge of internet architecture including autonomous systems and regional internet registries
• Experience using a range of investigative forensic and case management tools
• Scripting knowledge preferred (Python/Selenium/Bash/APIs)
• Graduate, preferably in a computing field or other relevant in-depth knowledge
• Good understanding of the online piracy landscape including BitTorrent and Streaming
• Good understanding of web-hosting and other intermediaries
• Knowledge of copyright law
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills
• A proven self-starter and self-motivator
