Sourcing a new article about DFIR careers

Post Posted: Mar 18, 19 18:18

Greetings all! Having joined Forensic Focus as Content Manager, I'm working on a few new articles. One of them is about careers in DFIR, and I'd love to include some direct quotes from site members.

This is a fairly generalized piece which will, I hope, include information for both newcomers and experienced professionals who might be looking to make a change. In any case, here are the questions I have:

- How did you get started in DFIR, and how has your career evolved?
- Do you specialize? Why or why not (and if yes, in what area)?
- What were some challenges you experienced, and how did you overcome them?
- What's your favorite aspect of your profession, and how do you make sure you get the time to spend enjoying it?

When you respond, please tell me whether you work in the public sector, private sector, or academia. If I can use your real name, please privately message me your details.

Thanks in advance!
