Hi All,
We are currently trying to extract a listing of all the mailboxes in a bunch of offline EDB files.
Sadly Kernal for Exchange cannot export a listing of all mailboxes and it seems this is a very limited function for a lot of software out there.
Wanted to see if anyone else has had success exporting mailbox listing from offline EDB files? And of course how?
NOTE - When I say 'Offline' EDB I refer to the exchange database files having been removed from the exchange server and resides on an analysis machine or external drive.
Thank you for any assistance

Veeam Explorer does what you're after

Hi deeFIR,
That is a great suggestion BUT I am still not able to export a simple listing of all the mailboxes contained in the offline EDB.
Unless I am missing something you can point out to me?

Following their guide, you'll be able to examine the entire Exchange store, locate single mailboxes and export those if you wish.
Not sure if my question didn't make sense before. I don't need to export the mailboxes I just need a simple Excel or text file export of all the mailbox names.
It seems there are no tools that can export a simple list of mailbox names contained in a offline EDB?
Can you explore the tables directly with NirSoft ESEDatabaseView?

How many mailboxes are you talking about, and how granular do you need to go in terms of detail?
If you follow the method above, you can interrogate the store and generate a list of the mailboxes. You may have to manually collate the list yourself. Without knowing how many you're referring to, I'm not sure how long it'll take.
