Is the Axiom Cloud Module performing?

We are considering putting up the $2K USD purchase price for Axiom’s Cloud module. However, we have word that it is having problems with iPhone backup recoveries from a users iCloud account. The court has ordered the username and password surrendered, and the subject says he will comply. Still, if we cannot obtain a proper, useable backup from the User’s iCloud, what is the point?

I sent the Magnet Axiom sales team this same question early last week but they have yet to respond. Bad omen think I.

If you haven't heard back in a week, you should probably follow up. I don't think it's a bad omen; sometimes emails get missed. I use the AXIOM PC and mobile modules and I've always found Magnet to be responsive. You could also ask for a demo and test it out.

Starting from iOS 11.2 Apple changed the authorization algorithms making it nearly impossible to extract iCloud backups via a username/password or token if 2FA was enabled. So some forensic software experienced problems with iCloud backup extraction.

AXIOM Cloud will support 2FA iCloud backups for iOS 11 and 12, we're still working on the backups for iOS 13 but 11 and 12 work just fine, I confirmed testing it this morning. There was a major change after 11.2 but we recently fixed that and working fine again.

Then they released iOS 13 and changed it again, but we're working on everything up to that.

Hello to all of the above and thanks to each of you for your responses. It is good to have the answers and now it makes perfect sense.

Jamie and Jad should know that I awoke to an email from Samin this morning. He has the situation under control. Yes, Magnet people have always been very responsive and that is why I have been with them since the early days of IEF.
