I'm sure its the same story for many of us, spending hours filling in application forms for graduate positions, only to fall foul of online assessments. I have lost count of how many forensics jobs I've applied for over the last couple of years, I've had a fair few interviews and I always seem to come close, but not quite close enough. I love digital forensics and the challenges it presents, so much so I can't put into words! And to be honest, I don't want to do anything else. It seems really hard to get into the industry even though I have a 21, a first in my final year project and I'm getting my work published. I'm not sure what it is that I am doing wrong. I know that my cv is good because I get interviews from it. I have been caught out in several interviews. For example I brush up on Hashing, MFT, File Systems and much more, research the company, what they do, what the job will involve etc only to be asked about programming for nearly 2 hours. I'm seriously getting fed up of being rejected!

But I'm not a quitter, so rather than giving up on my dream I've chosen to enrol on a masters in Computer Forensics. I can't be the only person who feels like this, anyone one else having a similar experience? Any tips for obtaining employment?
