Big 4 Interview - 'Commercial Awareness'

Post Posted: Oct 23, 14 19:11

I'm a graduate just getting into Digital Forensics and have an interview at a Big 4 company coming up. 'Commercial Awareness' is one of the main things that the interview will involve. I was hoping that people on here may have advice about good websites (apart from this one) to read up about news in the field? Or any suggested areas that I could research which are particularly relevant at the moment. Thanks for any help Very Happy

I recently began working at one of the big four and have to say the interview process was one of the more pleasurable ones for me. For commercial awareness however keep up to date with business acquisitions of technology companies, where are they focusing their marketing and development and be ready to cite sources of where you get this information such as news sites you read, newspapers etc.

As for places to read, general news BBC, Bloomberg are two of the better ones in my opinion. This site of course, follow the big companies on sites like linked in such as HP, EMC, AccessData, Magnet, anything relevant.

I'm sure other people have more/better sources since I'm still quite green to the field.

Good Luck.
