Hello,

I have done a search for replies on File Transferring log on Mac OS and replies have mentioned it wasn't possible. I would like an opinion on this.

If I have a MAC hard drive and you want to see if a user transferred any files to a flash drive for example, is there a directory of some sort that would record such logs? Like Windows has a registry to show what flash drives were inserted into a workstation.

There are logs showing USB attached or detached devices, but there are no logs about file transferring.

The closest I know for this kind of monitoring for OS X at file system level is fswatch

https://github.com/alandipert/fswatch

You need to have this utility running with your parameters for logging changes to your defined path before the file transfers are done. This won't help you analyze file transfers which previously weren't logged.
