Investigators – Computer Forensics

Computer Tax Audit provides forensic services to Inland Revenue supporting tax investigations through the acquisition of electronic data and subsequent analysis and presentation of evidence.

You will have a broad range of competencies and attributes including;

• Excellent people facing and communication skills
• Ability to work under pressure in difficult situations
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
• Naturally inquisitive and persistent
• Written communication skills ability to construct reports
• Patience and flexibility
• High levels of integrity are essential as Investigators are often privy to confidential information.
• Ability to follow processes and procedures.

From a technical perspective you will preferably have;

• Experience handling structured data, database concepts; with knowledge of query techniques.
• Confidence with computer hardware and operating system interaction, particularly around storage and communications technologies.
• A working knowledge of business systems
• A+ Certification
• Used software tools such as Encase or FTK
• The ability to read Hex
• A solid grasp of data storage, email and the internet technologies.

You will ideally have experience in either an enforcement or professional computer forensics environment. Candidates will be rewarded with attractive salary, benefits and a varied interesting career. Travel is often required.
