Hi all,

I have an image of an Intellex CCTV computer and I would like to view the CCTV on it. My problems are two fold

1. If I virtualise the machine I get a nag screen for a licence. The licence appear to be where it should be but not being picked up. So won't run.

2. The CCTV data files appear to be 'AVI' files of a bespoke nature.

So I am asking

Has anyone virtualised one of these machines and got it working or does anyone know of a viewer that can play the Intellex AVI files?

Hope someone can assist?

Many thanks.

It may depend on the exact version of software, etc.

Have you tried directly from the manufacturer?
HTTP//WWW.AMERICANDYNAMICS.NET/Support/SoftwareDownloads.aspx

There should be a "network client" capable of showing the video and/or converting it (and there used to be a "player" included in it)

The last Intellex video I worked was on a Windows 2000 box. Imaged the drives to lab drives. Popped in the lab drives into the box. Found the video. Exported it out to another lab drive.

If all else, look at DME Forensics.
