Visual Positioning Service - Google I/O
Visual Positioning Service - Google I/O
Posted: Thu May 18, 2017 1:50 pm
Google announced for their Tango platform (e.g. Lenovo Phab 2 Pro) a new approach of Visual Positioning Service for indoor navigation. We tried to imagine to put 4 Tango devices on a horizontal platform to cover each 90° to put them on a rover to run indoor Street View and figure out if we can use this approach for Crime Repetition Simulation (CRS).
Did anybody try to get out data out of Tango before?
What data format?
How did you get out the data?
Is it possible to converge 4 x 90° visual information into 360° easily?
Thank you in advance.
