Morning folks,
I have a physical dump of a device, and under user accounts it's showing me an Instagram User ID number… IE 18843535
I have found webpages that will show a UID when you input a username, but I want to go the other direction. Input the UID to get a username.
With FB you can just enter the UID in the URL path and it will pull up the profile, not the same for Instagram.
Any help?
tks
Assuming this is a cellebrite dump, isnt the account information under analyzed data -> accounts ?
Neg… All it's showing me is the UID - there's nothing I can find that specifies an actual account name… Weird eh?

Have you examined the call
https://api.instagram.com/v1/users/search?q=jack&access_token=ACCESS-TOKEN
which returns a list of users matching the query, provided you have a valid access token. I have not found the query syntax documented anywhere, but then I've only looked around very briefly.
An Instagram developer is likely to answer your question much faster.
