Unlock Huawei BL without data wipe

Post Posted: Mar 27, 18 23:43

Well, I,ve got that Huawei P10 with Password to extract data of it. It has Android 7.0 with latest security patch from Google. As we all know that Unlocking BL triggering Factory Reset so, my question is; Is there a way around that?

Thanks in advance.

Approach Cellebrite CAS that supports latest Huawei devices too.

I have used Cellebrites CAS for few times now. They do amazing job by the way :). In our cases the devices were Samsungs and Iphones.

Just now I have Huaweis and Honors sitting on my desk waiting for the codes . They are all encrypted (Android Nougat) and we are unable to extract any data out of them.

I must confess that I am not aware, if they support Huaweis and Honors nowadays. This possible support is a totally surprise news to me. Maybe there were some info in their webinar yesterday?

If they do, have some new supported devices, could someone update the list to this thread? It would be really good information to us all, cause then we won't overheat their customer service :).

The Huawei unlocking support is indeed very new, but it is slowly becoming available in all CAS locations. Supported are most devices under Kirin 620/65x/93x/95x/960, so you can give it a try...
