Hi everyone!
Any ideas how to access data stored on pattern-locked LG m250e (K10) with MT6750 CPU? I have to obtain only SMS archives (im from LE). I tried XRY, UFED and phone is not visible in those tools. Tried to use Inferno Key but I think it wont work with MT6750 CPU. I also tried to use "Hack LG" in Mobiledit Express but couldn't make it connect to phone as it was all the time unrecognized in Windows OS. As phone use Android 7.0 JTAG or Chip-off is not an option as all data will be encrypted, am I right? I tried to Google it out but found only that last update of OctoplusBox have some support to this phone. Will obtain this tool tomorrow and let you know but I think it wont change anything. Any other ideas? I tried simple date cables, 56k, 130k, 910k and nothing works.

Thanks for your help

Hi,

What profiles did you try with XRY? From what I can tell the LG M250n is supported at least so it is very probably that the M250e will work in a similar way, with for example the LG Android Generic Qualcomm Physical 2 profile. As long as the device boots into download mode this profile usually works, but then again if the device is running Android 7 the userdata may be encrypted.

Worth a shot at least if you didn't even get as far as dumping the device!

With Samsung SM-G6000 and SM-J500F you can try "Partial File System".

Jakub,
This model should be supported for unlocking with a 130k cable (Cellebrite has it as cable 519 or cable 523) and any UFED.
Please use the LG GSM Generic Android profile, and apply the "Temporary Screen Unlock" method.
we just tested this model and the screen was successfully unlocked, which should allow you access to SMS.

We are also working on a new method to provide decrypted MTK physical extractions for a variety of MTK chipsets, and this device is supported - but it will take a few months until it's released to UFED.
If your case requires it urgently, we can offer an early access to this bleeding-edge capability via CAS.

Best,
Shahar

Thanks for all for help. Unfortunately USB data port in phone was broken (not only socket but i think some logic because phone was damaged). Due that I couldn't establish data connection.
