Has anyone had any luck getting any of the distros to image a Mac Book pro 1 year old or newer?

Seeing a lot of touchpad not working, and cursor type errors.
External mouse doesn't seem to do the trick either.
Several sites have claimed it's the way it will be for awhile, and recommended Recon Imager or the other Recon product.

CAINE
DeftZ
Parrot
Paladin

We've had success with newer Macs by booting an older Mac using Paladin/MacQuisition etc. and connecting the newer Mac using Target Disk Mode.

Thanks for the reply.

Are others not running into this mouse/pointer and graphics error?

Outside of the forum is seems to be a topic which is discussed.

Yeah that seems to be a common thing with Linux on Mac, but at my department we just outsourced the job to the biggest Linux-geek at the office and he just made us a custom forensic-image that we use.

But as far as I know you will have to recompile the kernel to make it happen.. I think this is one of the guides he used

Thanks LeGioN, sent you a PM.

Does anyone have an already compiled distro they could dropbox?
This keyboard and trackpad issue is causing me sleepless nights lol.
