Hi all,

I'm using Nuix Workstation and I wonder about their System Dependencies.
Let's say that I Installed "Relativity" in order to perform exports to it.
How does Nuix know if there is a new version to Relativity? Do I have to check by myself Or Nuix can determine that if there is an update?
Because for now, I see status "Found" but if Relativity gets an update it's possible that the Export won't work again..

Thanks,
John

You appear to be referring to Relativity as a dependency for Nuix Workstation which is not the case. The only dependencies that Nuix workstation has are
1. Lotus Notes Client
2. FFmpeg
3. ImageMagick
4. Nuix OCR Addon

When exporting a production from NUIX, you can export directly to Relativity. The export is sent to Relativity using a HTTP or similar connection that utilises the Relativity API. There does not appear to be any thorough documentation on the compatibility between NUIX and Relativity versions for this method.

The most common way to export a production to Relativity would be to use the "Legal Export to Concordance" method in Nuix. You would create a legal export of your NATIVE, IMAGE (if needed) and TEXT files and create a concordance .DAT file. This can then be imported into Relativity by using the Relativity Desktop Client which allows you to map metadata fields in the .DAT file to the target Relativity Workspace's fields. This method is the most commonly used, it is taught by NUIX in their eDiscovery specialist course and is not prone to compatibility issues.
