In Switzerland ISO/IEC 17025 is not mandatory for Digital Forensics Labs. But in other countries like the U.K. its different. Does anybody know an online resource to find the global stats about this issue?

May trewmte knows this.

AFAIK it is "the other way round". 😯
i.e. the ISO 17025 has been pushed down the throats of the digital forensic investigators in the UK ONLY.

If you want a crystal ball guess, the only countries that may follow could be our friends down under (Australia and/or New Zealand), less likely maybe Canada.

The rest of the world seems like (comparatively) more sane.
