Cyber & Digital Forensic Analyst - Portsmouth, Hampshire, UK

Fusion Forensics is a leading provider of cyber and digital forensic services in the UK for governmental departments, law enforcement, defence lawyers and commercial organisations.

Fusion specialises in Computer and Cyber Forensics, Incident Response, Compliance Services, Training and Consultancy, Mobile Phone Forensics, Cell Site Analysis, Audio/Video Forensics, Chip-Off/JTAG/ISP Forensics, Data Recovery, Open Source Internet Investigations and Expert Witness Services.

Cyber & Digital Forensics Analyst
Fusion has a requirement for a Forensic Analyst (with or without experience) conducting cyber and digital forensic related tasks.

• Full time
• Salary: Subject to experience (20k+)

Desired Experience
• Imaging and extracting data from digital devices and producing reports and updating case management as required
• Support incident response capabilities to clients in support of senior consultants;
• Stay up-to-date with all relevant cyber incident news and attack trends.
• Dealing with Customer enquiries, generating and progressing new business leads internally and externally;
• Keeping up to-date with new digital devices & techniques;
• Providing support for a 24/7, 365 forensic service;
• Managing own workload effectively and supporting the Digital Forensics Manager;
• Provide assistance and support for Fusion’s IT infrastructure and network;
• Supporting Fusions’ ongoing work towards attaining ISO 17025 accreditation.

Skills and Abilities
• Good oral and written communication
• Work independently with limited supervision and under pressure
• Able to prioritise work and meet deadlines
• Excellent listening and interpersonal skills
• Experience working in a team-orientated, collaborative environment
• Full UK Driving Licence

Other Role Requirements
Due to the nature of the role applicants will be required to be security vetted CRB and CTC; therefore, applicants must be currently and permanently resident in the UK and have been for at least 3 years

Applicant suitability
This role would suit a recent graduate in a cyber or digital forensic related degree and would be an ideal opportunity for someone looking to gain experience working for a cyber and digital forensics company.

This role will be based at our head office, laboratory and training centre in Portsmouth, Hampshire.
