Forensic Data Analyst
London- Leading global business

You will ideally have at least a years’ experience in a data analytics role or similar conducting data search rules and machine learning algorithms (may consider an exceptional data scientific or similar graduate if you have all the right skills). The role will be working with leading software to help clients understand their risks and develop the right solution through the use of technology and bespoke business solutions.
You must have a minimum of a 2:1 degree in technical subject, ideally with some hands on experience and/or practical business elements.

You will need to demonstrate:
• Understanding of different computer systems, DB’s and how data is stored.
• Exceptional analytical and technical skills, strong problem solving skills to real problems.
• Flexible attitude, to help with remaining up to speed with the latest technologies and data discovery approaches.
• A keen interest in modern businesses and the challenges they have in managing their data.
• Time management, prioritise tasks, self-motivated and can work autonomously if needed and produce high-quality deliverables.
• Familiarity with typical components of modern business IT networks, including the Cloud e.g. AWS, Azure, Office 365, etc. and document management systems e.g. Sharepoint.
Technical skills
Technical experience with the following are highly desirable
• Experience of using file analysis software to scan and manage structured and unstructured data stores; e.g. Nuix, Varonis, Ground Labs also Automated Intelligence and BigID etc.
• Understanding and writing expressions.
• Data query and programming languages, e.g, SQL, Python…
• Data visualisation skills, maybe using Power BI, Tableau, Qlickview, R, Excel etc.
