Sans Accreditations and Employability

Sans Accreditations and Employability
Hi,
The problem that I want to put forward is as a MSc student I am concerned about my employment and am in the position where I have to choose one accreditation to pursue to start my career in the field. While I have an ACE accreditation and Cyphertrace Blockchain Examiner I find myself in the position of having to choose one accreditation to pursue. I have recently discovered my interest in Malware Analysis so my first thought is the GREM (https://digital-forensics.sans.org/certification/grem) but at the same time I think that a GCFE of GCFA would position myself better in terms of employment and make me a better rounded individual. At the same time more jobs have that requirement (GCFA or GCFE).
In your experience would you recommand I pursue something that I have a strong interest in or should I go for the least specialised certification and pursue the GREM at a later time? Any insight or other suggestion would be welcomed.

Re: Sans Accreditations and Employability
Since you have no hands-on experience, getting the certs is reasonable path.
GREM & GCFA/GCFE are different paths.
You can definitely go GCFA/GCFE, but the initial job you most likely get will have little to do with malware analysis.
If you can afford it, take the GREM and one of the GCFA/GCFE.
