Anyone going to PFIC, want to meet up?
Color me confused.
Over 400 views for a Who is going to PFIC thread, and no responses.
I'll add to this.
Why aren't you going, did you not know about it, don't like the agenda, not convenient to get to, other?

There's no "Like" button…if there were, I'd "like" the confused part. 😉
I've spoken at PFIC in the past, and like any conference, the quality of content varies. I really like some of the content and speakers, and I also really like the economic impact of the event on the community. This is also the reason I enjoyed events such as the Tough Mudder, Spartan Race, and other similar events.
I was riff'd recently, and cannot afford to attend. Looking at the agenda, there are more than a few presentations that I'd like to see, and more than a few folks that I'd like to chat with, but I cannot afford it.

I guess that AmNe5iA (thanks, BTW) has indirectly provided a valid answer about why noone (not even those NOT going to the conference) replied.
So, basically, once reduced the 400 views to 200 "valid ones", i.e. removing bots, people landing here following (wrong) results for a search for PFIC (Progressive Familial Intrahepatic Cholestasis or Passive Foreign Investment Company) and what not we have tentatively
1) 180 are not going there
2) 1 (yours truly) not going there and however not intersted in meeting anyone that posts a one-liner with an acronym
3) 19 going there but not wanting to meet you
If I may roll , you don't seem very popular 😯 and we haven't even considered those that planned to go there but changed their mind as soon as they knew you would be attending wink .

Never heard of it and it's approximately 5000 miles away wink
Thanks for the Jab.

Anyone going to PFIC, want to meet up?
I thought about checking it out (it's a day's drive from me). But I've got a few things up in the air at the moment and don't think I will be able to make it.
Thanks for replying. Would it be a plane flight for you or a drive?
It's a nice conference especially for the price, and supporting Amber.

A flight would be shorter, by a few hours so I'd probably fly. But I'd consider driving just to avoid the hassle of air travel.
