Hello all.

Please see below details of two Lab Technician roles which have become available due to internal promotions at this major Law Enforcement organisation.

Forensics Laboratory Technician

This major law enforcement organisation require an enthusiastic Technician to support their Team of Computer Forensic Investigators. This position offers the opportunity for the right person to move into the rapidly expanding field of Computer Forensics.

Initially, this wide-ranging role involves providing technical support to Investigative staff who are involved in processing and analysing computer systems and electronic media submitted to the laboratory. Your core responsibilities will be for operational support, first line servicing, maintenance and, where applicable, modification of in-house laboratory equipment and systems. You may also be required to provide technical assistance ot members of the Team at crime scenes as and when required. You may also be required to prepare necessary documentation (witness statements etc).

The key to this position is a real passion for technology. It is vital that you have proven experience in a specialised technical field whether networks, electronics , software, infrastructure or telecommunications as you will be encouraged to use your specialist knowledge whenever possible. In return, you will have tremendous scope to become involved in cutting-edge projects and to learn from some of the best Computer Forensic practitioners in the industry.
