I would imagine a job position from mid August would more than likely already been filled.

Hi Rapture,

In your last post on this thread you say that you would expect a role posted in mid-August to be filled by now. Me too! However, in reality I think you would be surprised how long some of the jobs advertised do actually remain available.

In these testing market conditions we are finding - quite understandably - that people currently working in a stable CF job are less likely to be open to making a move, however outstanding the opportunity, meaning that vacancies do remain open often for over three months.

However, on the positive side this does mean that people who do make a move are sometimes able to negotiate a better package than was on offer earlier in the year.
