Based in the Midlands, Disklabs, established in 1997, is looking for enthusiastic candidates that are able to work in a team environment, providing high quality work for our clients, (which include 37 of the 43 England, Wales and Northern Ireland police forces, numerous defence clients, global corporations and government departments).

To ensure that Disklabs encourages the right candidate, Disklabs is able to offer a generous package which includes:

Up to £5,000 relocation allowance
Up to £3,000 joining fee

After 1 years service:

Extra day off per year served, (paid) - up to 5 days maximum

As both the computer forensics and mobile phone forensics divisions are growing, Disklabs now has a requirement to recruit experienced computer analysts to join our team.

Job Title – Experienced Computer Forensics Analyst (£salary dependant on experience)

Key responsibilities

The successful candidate will actively conduct Casework and assist and support either of the lab managers running their caseloads. Their duties will include:

Examination and Analysis of Computer exhibits
Production of Technical Reports.
Quality Control
It is expected that the applicant will have extensive knowledge of ACPO Guidelines and full understanding of digital forensic procedures.

Skills and experience required

Prospective candidates ideally have the following qualifications:
BSc or MSc in Computer Forensics or similar,
Digital investigation experience.
Excellent understanding of IT
Minimum of 1 year experience in computer forensic casework.
Experience of giving evidence in court.
Encase Advanced or ENCE certification
FTK Accreditation
Excellent report writing skills
Full UK driving license

Personal Traits Required:

Hard Working
Excellent communication skills
Ability to work in a team.

Disklabs work frequently with law enforcement and other government agencies that require security clearance; this means that all applicants must be prepared to be security vetted. Because of this, Disklabs will only consider applicants currently resident in the UK and have been for a minimum of the last 3 years.
