Dear all,

I need to dump some SE phones and I'm using SETOOL.
I have a J230i and two w880i. Does anybody know with are the address ranges for user space concerning these two models?

Many thanks,

David.

Just trying to get a dump from a J132 myself… make sure you have a SE-J132 cable. The standard mini usb wont work and the UFS-J132 cable is highly inconsistent (when it works at all).

As for address ranges… working on them now but getting inconsistent results ?

You're right about the cables. Unfortunately I don't have the SE-J132 (I just order it). I'm working right now on the J230i (deadline shorter). As soon as I find out the range, I will post it. Maybe it will be the same as for the J132.

Take care,

David.

Faily sure the j230i wont be the same as j132. The j132 doesn't appear to be based on the Locosto chip. Here is a handset list I have found that shows other Locosto chip based SE handsets.

Locosto J132, K330, R300, R306, T270, T280, T303, Z250, Z320 J132, K330, R300, R306, T270, T280, T303, Z250, Z320

But give it a go anyway as this list could be out of date…

Once Ive competed the j132 I'm working on now Ill be trying the same settings with a couple of t303's I have in my work load.

Further info… the J230i runs on a Arima chipset so def wont be the same settings as the j132.

Ok, I think I got it for the J230i. There is a mix of user-space and language pack/software from 0x00000000 to 0x08000000.

With X-Ways I manage to retrieve the images.

With an hex editor I found some call list around 0x006BD860.

I did not retrieve much than that. I don't think the phone has a contact list of his own.

If anyone has more precise addresses to share…

David.

Hey, have you had any luck getting a dump from the T303 yet? I've got one that is refusing to read - it just times out every time. I've tried a couple of ranges but no luck yet, just wondered if you were any luckier than I?!

Been away from the office so not had a chance to test yet… Other than a different connection type I see no reason why the same method shouldn't work… But maybe I just tempted fate by saying that 😉

I'll report back with any findings.
