Hi all,

Is the IP address specified in "FORCED_IP_ADDRESS_STRING=XX.XX.XX.XX" the actual IP of the user?

Is the direcotry specified in
"LAST_FILECHOOSER_DIR=C\XXXX" the directory where the last file downloaded was saved to?

Thanks

Thanks for the reply. I've read that document but it doesn't have any information about the entries I'm interested in. ?

Unfortunately that excellent paper is a little out of date for version 5.x

I have seen the FORCED_IP_STRING match a known IP address, that is I knew the IP address and have seen a corresponding match in the props file. However any more information than that Im not sure on and have not been able to recreate it for myself.

Last_Filechooser, I believe, is the selected save folder, this can be recreated with some tests.

LAST_FILECHOOSER_DIR - the last directory selected to be shared by user
FORCED_IP_ADDRESS - WAN IP address of router.

FORCED_IP_ADDRESS - WAN IP address of router.

Do you know if this property is written automatically or is it created by user action ?

The LAST_FILECHOOSER_DIR should apply to anything that is set through a file- or directory-selection dialog. If I change my download directory, for example, it sets LAST_FILECHOOSER_DIR.

I think FORCED_IP_ADDRESS is created by user action. I'm not sure if it is the external IP address of the NATing router or if it is the IP address on the machine to bind to (for multihomed machines).
