I have to pull off data from a "Nice Logger Digital Voice Logging System" that was used to store recorded voice messages/conversations.

Has anyone dealt with these before? If so, do you have any information on them? Filesystem? What file format are the voice conservations stored as?

Data is on a RAID 1 or 5 right?

"NICE VoIP v8.8
A Win2000 -based digital voice over IP recorder that sniffs and processes & stores audio in a high-quality audio-compressed digital format."

Databases of the recordings and a CEM GUI that an admin can use.

Looks like there are couple versions - happen to get the version number?

We had something almost come in but the case settled. I was expecting the worse of being something proprietary and I would need to VM it with the the software and try to recreate the environment with the disk images. Have to usually do that with DVR's cause the file system is something of a black box.

Addendum
For top compression and best quality, NICE recordings use NICE's advanced proprietary file formats (AUD and NMF). These files take about one-tenth of the space required by MP3 files, and only 3-5 percent of that required by WAV files.

A database on a RAID holding proprietary media files. Sounds like fun 😉
