The NHS Counter Fraud and Security Management Service has the remit of countering fraud and corruption within the NHS. The Forensic Computing Unit was set up to aid in these investigations, and also undertakes forensic computing work for external clients. Our investigations focus on fraud and breech of contracts.

We are looking to recruit a forensic computing officer for our head office in Holborn, London. The salary is £26,106 to £34,417, plus an additional high cost area supplement of £5,500.

Essential requirements include 12 months forensic computing experience, knowledge of the proper handling of evidence and producing documentation for Crown Court, and experience of EnCase or FTK.

Candidates should email forensics @ cfsms.nhs.uk to request the complete job description and an application form.
