Hardware data recovery books

Post Posted: Mar 27, 06 22:47

Hi all,

Does anyone have any good recommendations for hardware data recovery information? I have searched through amazon and nothing seems to stand out. There is one book coming out in May called Data Recovery Tips & Solutions : Windows, Linux, and BSD by Kris Kaspersky that seems promising. Has anyone been able to get an advance copy before it went to print? I know people get some of these books for review ahead of time. I am looking for something that focuses on getting damaged media to function long enough to image it.
