I was recently browsing a new site open to the general public & stumbled accross a series of images of what appears to be CP (certainly young teenagers) nude, partial nude and explicit sexual acts.
Question is the site is hotsed in the US - which authority should i report this to?
I am both confused & angry that such content is just sitting out there with an innocent sounding name & no one seems to have done anything about it, lest of all the fact the someone is going to end up with these images on the drives, after some casual browsing on a general, public site accessible to adults & minors alike.
Thanks & Regards,
Allow to to clarify further; yes I could notify the site admin (as I am fairly certain they are not aware of the content on this popular site), but really think Law enforcement need to be aware of this & look into it.
Have been to the FBI site, but it seems mainly focussed on reporting White Collar crime & for victims of scams.
Thanks
You can make the report online here

Mindsmith,
So you now have the images on your computer and you want to write the Feds and inform them of the site?
Actually this is probably more along the lines of what you are looking for
http//
It's the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. We get quite a few leads from them.
Well, such is life - it's either dont report what you found, or report it so that the next person or kid browsing ______ doesnt end up with the same images staring back at them & the irony is that I was browsing a magazine article on disk forensics, and clicked on a banner add 2 clicks later I saw all these images. This really should not be happening.
The site is owned by one of the world's top free webmail providers, who have site opened up a photo site.
Thanks for all your input, IC3 again seem to be motre oriented towards financial crimes so I submitted a tip via the FBI site.
Thanks & Regards,
For the UK (for anywhere really) you can also use the Internet Watch Foundation at http//
