Senior Forensic Analyst - Arlington, VA

Key Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will actively conduct casework as well as assist and support the Program Manager.

The responsibilities will include:

* Managing a case through all phases of the digital forensic process.
* Consulting with clients and managing cases directly with clientele.
* Performing Forensic Analysis of computer based equipment and Mobile Phones across a wide range of investigations.
* Light travel for data collections.
* Forensic image creation using software or hardware acquisition tools.
* Operational responsibility for securing and preserving digital evidence.
* Technical research and development of laboratory staff.
* Procedure and documentation development.
* Process, Training and Quality development.


* Requires bachelor's degree (in Computer Science, Digital Forensic Science, or a related field) or equivalent industry experience.

* Must possess an excellent understanding of IT technology and have extensive experience conducting digital forensic investigations across a variety of hardware and software architectures.

* Experience in designing, implementing, and administering networks in a LAN/WAN environment.

* Must have extensive experience in planning, organizing, directing, and controlling large-scale forensic examinations at the enterprise level within the preceding 5 years.

* Demonstrated experience with the processing of large-volume forensic and eDiscovery investigations.

* Must possess and maintain CCE Certification, CompTIA A+ and N+ certifications and either the EnCase Certified Examiner (EnCE) OR IACIS Certified Forensic Computer Examiner (CFCE) certifications.

* Prior Federal Security Clearance of any type preferred but not required.

* Expert-level experience in the use of automated forensic tools (e.g. Forensic Toolkit, EnCase, X-Ways, NetAnalysis, CacheBack) and be able to articulate, in detail, the processes being conducted by these automated forensic tools. Experience with FTK 3.2 considered a plus.

* Must have excellent report writing skills.

* Must pass a drug screening and be able to obtain a Federal Security Clearance.
